DancerGlobe is a project that will bring about a new form of journalism in dance, one that is created by the viewing public (bloggers, audience members in your community) with good editorial guidelines and overview. All articles are carefully reviewed, edited, married with imagery and, once approved, published on our site and sent out via RSS feeds to Facebook, MySpace, Twitter and other social media.
Becoming a contributor is easy and certainly has advantages too... While it is a form of citizen journalism, proven contributors will be issued Press ID's after only 5 approved and published news stories submitted. You can use these press ID's to identify yourself as a DancerGlobe contributor and gain access to press areas, conferences, and even interviews with stars and directors for the purpose of writing editorials featuring them.
Senior contributors, those who are published more than ten times, can pick to be an assigned correspondent to their local arts scene. An official assignment letter will be issued identifying the correspondent as the official DancerGlobe correspondent.
Becoming a contributor is as easy as 1-2-3:
Step 1: Register for an account
Step 2: Activate your account
Step 3: Log In and request to be a correspondent
